What problems needed solving?
VEED was founded in 2018 to democratise the visual content industry. Now backed by Sequoia Capital with 160+ employees, it had never implemented defined processes for requesting spend, purchasing software, or managing suppliers. By 2024, Josh Goldman and his team were spending a disproportionate amount of time unpicking fragmented spend, acting as concierge for requests, and trying to bring order — time that should have been spent enabling VEED's next phase of growth.
